Funding

Goals of the Commons Funding Section:

  • The Funding Section home page will provide content from our staff, contractors, volunteers and from across the web on Progressive/Left Movement funding efforts, ideas and models.

  • The Charities page provides information on specific Charitable Organizations that have a direct interest in:

the lives of progressive/left activists

a progressive/left outlook

human rights

free speech

privacy

collective collaboration

internet

  • The Activist Community Ecosystem (ACE) pages provide information on the Commons program to sustain its programs without drawing on funds that might otherwise be available to other left/progressive organizations.

  • The Start-Up Aid pages are the beginning of a long term Commons program to aid left/progressive organizations in their start-up and key development stages. We look for this effort to expand into an online based incubator for left/progressive organizations.

  • The Advertise With Us page provides information on the role of advertisements on the Commons and the Activist Community Ecosystem (ACE). Advertising Policies and the relationship between the Commons, and related websites, with the Renaissance Advertising Network are presented.

  • The ActBlue website is presented for the convenience of USA user/members and as a model for left/progressive groups across the globe.

  • The Fund Raising Section is an educational effort aimed at providing reviews, analysis, ideas, training and tools for left/progressive activists and organizations.
