Advertising within the Commons and related websites is a key element in ACE.

ACE Goals:

• To modernize the system of funding our community in order to limit the deleterious effects of many traditional revenue sources.

   

• To fund our community with without drawing on funds that might otherwise be available to other left/progressive organizations.

   

• To create a revenue system that sustainably supports our operating expenses, allows for the necessary research, development and implementation cost necessary to expand our coverage, features, education, services and the practical aspects of activism.

   

• To create a revenue system that allows us to aid in the start-up and key development of other left/progressive organizations.

ACE Commons Advertising Policies:

• Key word advertising based on Google Adsense will not be used.

   

• All advertisers will be checked in advance for suitability.

   

• All individual advertisements that any advertiser runs will be reviewed in advance.

   

• There will be no commercial advertiser driven content in the makeup of the website.

   

• Commercial Advertisements will be placed in recurring clear locations and not integrated into the website content.

   

• In order to insure these Policies, a high standard of professionalism and a clear understanding of potential impacts of the miss use of advertising all advertising will be managed by Renaissance Advertising Network.

   

• We do not accept paid Sponsor advertisements or paid content placement.

   

• We do not accept payment for reviews. Normal Reviews may contain unpaid links for reference and educational purposes.

Cost of ACE Advertising:

• Using the Renaissance Advertising Network advertisers have the choice making payment based on:

   

  • The number of clicks on their Ad.

     

  • The number of Ad impressions (views).

     

  • A commission generated from a sale.

     

• The cost of Ad clicks or impressions is based on the Ad size, Ad display location, Ad schedule, geographic targeting and demand.
